Story
As a former USDA Consumer Safety Inspector, I’ve seen firsthand how confusing and intimidating regulations can be especially for small producers and homesteaders trying to do things the right way. I’ve also seen how the right guidance can completely change that experience.
My background allows me to bring real, practical insight into USDA inspections, HACCP systems, and sanitation practices. But beyond that, I’m building a homestead lifestyle of my own, which keeps me grounded in the same challenges my clients face.
The name Colorful Lovers comes from my wife and me blending our roots from Colorado and Virginia and reflects the idea of bringing different perspectives together to build something meaningful.
